What is spiritual authority?

Spiritual authority in the New Testament refers to the God-given right and responsibility to lead, teach, correct, or act on behalf of God, empowered by the Holy Spirit and grounded in Christ's authority.

Jesus came near and said to them, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember,I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Why is the prophetic important?

The Spirit of Prophecy is important for many reasons.

In 1 Corinthians 12:7–11, prophecy is listed as one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, who empowers us to speak messages from God, offering guidance, correction, encouragement, and revelation. Prophecy is a way that God actively communicates with His people today. The Bible says we overcome by the Word of our Testimony and the blood of the Lamb. When we prophecy it is our testimony that the blood of the Lamb is over our life.

Key Verse: “For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” — Revelation 19:10

Why is equipping necessary?

The church, as God's bride, is called to unite in spiritual battles, supporting each other in prayer and action against darkness, and the Bible says that people parish not by losing spiritual battles but for lack of knowledge. We believe a prepared bride is an equipped bride according to Ephesians 4: 11 -16

And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love..
